Each year, the officials of Collegio Sant'Anselmo take their annual "gita", or outing, to a place of interest near Rome. This year, on 25 June, Prior Mauritius Wilde chose the Exarchic Greek Monastery of Santa Maria di Grottaferrata. Story and photos here.
Celebration Week for the Rector
The week of 19-23 April was a busy week for the rector of the Pontifical Athenaeum Sant'Anselmo, Rev. Fr. Bernhard A. Eckerstorfer. On Monday, 19 April, the community celebrated the "octave" of his 50th birthday. Then on Wednesday, 21 April, the Solemnity of Sant'Anselmo, Fr. Bernhard celebrated the Solemn Mass, delivered the homily and hosted the festive lunch afterward. More information, links, photos and homily.

D. George Frick on the situation in Syria
Our resident, Deacon D. George Frick, gave a presentation of the situation in his homeland, which has been affected by the war for 10 years. Fr. Philippe Rouillard OSB
On 1 January 2021, Prof. Philippe Rouillard OSB, monk and priest of the Abbey of Saint-Paul de Wisques, passed away. A full professor of sacramental Theology since 1988, he was also director of the Studia Anselmiana series. History and links here.
