On Sunday, 24 September, 26 new residents arrived at Collegio Sant’Anselmo from 14 countries. Our international character is at the heart of Sant’Anselmo and we believe that living, learning and praying with people from different cultures is one of our great strengths and joys. Gregorian Chant meets Byzantine Music
The schola of Benedictine monks of Sant'Anselmo and the Byzantine choir "Psalterion" from Greece performed hymns of the Resurrection of the Lord and of the Divine Liturgy. Story, photos and video here.
Mekhitarists share their culture with Sant’Anselmo residents
On the evening of 28 March, Armenian monks Kevork Sarkisyan, Hovhannes Manukyan, and Mashdoz Ohanian of the Mekhitarist monastery in Venice-Lido gave a presentation to the residents of Sant'Anselmo. Story and photos here.
Limoncello “Zest” at Sant’Anselmo
On 21 March, The Feast of our patron Saint Benedict, the Sant'Anselmo community was treated to limoncello, a traditional Italian "digestivo", made by Head Chef Antonio Giovinazzo and Monk-Refectorian Antoine Sossa.
Buddhists deliver lecture to Collegio community
On the evening of 15 November, the community of Collegio Sant'Anselmo was treated to a presentation by our visiting Buddhists monks, Chaiyapat Boonpan and Panuwat Lerdprasertpun, of the Mungkomkamalavas Temple, a Mahayana Buddhist Monastery in Thailand. Story, photo and links here.

Father Mauritius elected president of ARCER
Father Mauritius Wilde OSB, rector of Sant'Anselmo College, was elected president of the Association of Rectors of Ecclesiastical Colleges of Rome (ARCER), during the general assembly of 24 November 2021.

As we do every year, the new residents of Collegio Sant'Anselmo paid a visit to the Grotto of Saint Benedict in Subiaco, Italy.
