Celebration Week for the Rector
The week of 19-23 April was a busy week for the rector of the Pontifical Athenaeum Sant'Anselmo, Rev. Fr. Bernhard A. Eckerstorfer. On Monday, 19 April, the community celebrated the "octave" of his 50th birthday. Then on Wednesday, 21 April, the Solemnity of Sant'Anselmo, Fr. On 1 January 2021, Prof. Philippe Rouillard OSB, monk and priest of the Abbey of Saint-Paul de Wisques, passed away. A full professor of sacramental Theology since 1988, he was also director of the Studia Anselmiana series. History and links here.

Prof. Odo Maria Lang OSB
On December 5, Prof. Odo Lang OSB from Einsiedeln Abbey passed away. Prof. Lang was a lecturer in the History of Liturgy in the Pontifical Institute of Liturgy from 1973 to 1984. Story and links here.
