Prof. Odo Maria Lang OSB
On December 5, Prof. Odo Lang OSB from Einsiedeln Abbey passed away. Prof. Lang was a lecturer in the History of Liturgy in the Pontifical Institute of Liturgy from 1973 to 1984. Story and links here.
German Mass and Cuisine
On 28 October, the "German Social Group", together with the "Jerusalem Group", prepared the evening mass in German.
Visit by Archbishop Pizzaballa
On 22 October, the apostolic administrator of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem came to Sant'Anselmo to visit the "Jerusalem School of Theology", a group of German students who are studying at our university and are staying at our College.

The meeting of the Council of ARCER (Association of Rectors of Ecclesiastical Colleges of Rome) took place on 14 October.
Field trip for the staff
On 30 July 2020, the staff of Sant’Anselmo Abbey went on a trip. Every year they take advantage of the period without lessons to have a moment of leisure and fraternity. The staff manages Collegio Sant’Anselmo, the residence of Benedictine religious who study and work in Rome.
Fr. Marion Nguyen, student of Sant’Anselmo, elected abbot
Directly before his election, Abbot Marion Qui-Thac Nguyen was a resident of Collegio Sant'Anselmo as he pursued a doctorate in Monastic Theology at the Pontifical University. Read his remarkable story here.
