The new coordinator of the group is Oblate Emma Caroleo, married and mother of three children. She obtained a Doctorate in Moral Theology at the Alphonsian Academy and, subsequently, a Doctorate in Spiritual Theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University where, currently, she teaches History of Spirituality at the Institute of Spirituality as an associate lecturer. She has been a catechist for more than 40 years and every Wednesday afternoon she puts herself at the service of the homeless.

On 17 October, the Sant'Anselmo community gathered for the second session of Conversazioni Anselmiane, a new series designed to bring insights from the Synod of Bishops directly to campus. This conversation featured Prof. Dr. Thomas Söding, a German Catholic theologian and senior professor of New Testament exegesis at Ruhr University Bochum.

On 14 September 2024, Abbot Jeremias Schröder OSB, of St. Ottilien Archabbey in Eresing, Germany, was elected abbot primate of the Benedictine Confederation at the Congress of Abbots meeting in Rome. He is the 11th abbot primate to be elected. Story and photos here.
