The New Year also brought us a new priest. During the Christmas break, Fr. Gregorio Vega was ordained a priest in his monastery, Abadía de Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles, in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, on 9 January. When he returned to Sant’Anselmo, he presided over his first Mass here on 12 January. The community of Sant’Anselmo extends our congratulations, support and prayers to Father Gregorio.

On 2 December 2023, the Sant’Anselmo community celebrated the diaconal ordination of Dom Kokila Fernando, OSB, in an ordination Mass presided over by Cardinal Louis Antonio Gokim Tagle. Story and photos here.
On the day of the Feast, the community celebrated by inviting Monsignor Giovanni Cesare Pagazzi, secretary of the Dicastery for Culture and Education, to preside at the Holy Mass.
Fr. Mauritius Wilde OSB, Prior of Collegio Sant'Anselmo, was re-elected president of ARCER on 23 november 2023.
